6 brave die-hards came out to take advantage of above average December temps and get a great winter ride in! Before departing, they talked about the clearest roads free from ice and decided on heading south to Meridian. Justin led the group down to the reservoir, with ride fearless ride leader Tom and dedicated triathlete Katie (pictured) along for the ride. Katie has an olympic tri in Feb and a half ironman in March next year, and was looking to get the cycling training up with the group as motivation. The group had a cold start but an abundance of sun created constant improving conditions and a nice ride, especially on the return leg back to the shop. The riders took a couple laps around Meridian then took C470 to Jordan north up through the state park and back. 32 miles of sunshine and a maintenance of winter fitness were enjoyed by all!
