RECAP October 30th: Aurora Res/Sloan's Lake

"Go B.V."
Yay!   What a good looking bunch...not that's what I call a "team"!  In case you missed the opportunity to ride with us today...tune in next Saturday where weather depending, we'll hit the road again!  Oh, those really cool jerseys just might be available at your local BV store...
INTERMEDIATE:
It was a very nice day for a Saturday ride, as 15 riders headed to Aurora Res with leaders Chris and Gene.  The 48 mile trip got them back to the store at 1:45 despite a record ten (10!) flats!!!!
Even Gene "I never get flats", contributed...guess your luck ran out on that one, Gene.

Check out ride pics here...

Hey guys, I've tried to upload the Garmin info from from this ride but for some reason it didn't save or record it.  It was acting up on the ride so I'm not sure what is going on with it.  Hopefully it will work this weekend.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
RECREATIONAL:
The rec group welcomed back leader Heidi along with veteran Jeffrey and the 10 headed west on the CC bike path to Sloan's Lake.  The motivated group kept an overall pace around 15 mph, with a cruising speed of 19-22 mph out to REI.   Heidi really enjoyed the opportunity to share the day with you.  The weather could not have been any nicer for the last weekend in October, everyone felt very comfortable throughout the entire ride.
